Sasha Amid, Esq.
Attorney
Sasha Amid focuses his practice in the areas of insolvency, restructuring, secured debt transactions, and commercial real estate—both in and out of bankruptcy. His corporate bankruptcy experience includes representation of debtors, creditor committees, DIP lenders, and landlords, in both Chapter 11 and related adversary proceedings. His real estate experience includes representation of commercial landlords on behalf of REITs and technology companies. Prior to entering private practice, he served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Scott H. Gan in the U.S Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona and to the Honorable Julia W. Brand in the U.S Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
Prior to law school, he spent seven years underwriting residential and multi-unit paper for securitization in the secondary market, for the world’s largest residential lender, and on the retail side underwriting paper for residential warehouse lenders.
