Abdiel earned his J.D. from Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While pursing his J.D., Abdiel served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable David R. Jones of the United Stated Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. Before law school, Abdiel served as a bankruptcy paralegal and case manager for proceedings under Chapter 7, 11 and 13 for approximately 7 years. After obtaining his J.D. and prior to joining the Firm, Abdiel served as an associate attorney representing bankruptcy trustees, creditors, and creditor committees in Chapter 7, 11 and related adversary proceedings. Abdiel is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
